About the SA
The Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary is constructed in a three branch system, much like the United States government. The Executive Branch consists of the SA President and Vice President as well as their many staff members–who reach out to many areas of campus. The Legislative Branch consists of the SA Senate, elected members from each class, as well as graduate members who make decisions based on a majority vote. The Judicial Branch of the Student Assembly consists of the Review Board, appointed by the Executive and confirmed by the Senate, which reviews disputes within the SA and sets precedent.
The SA is also represented by the Undergraduate and Graduate Councils which include the class officers and representatives of their respective schools. These councils advocate and sponsor events for the students they represent.
