Curt Mills, President
Hi I’m Curt. I’m originally from Montgomery County, Maryland, but I now call Oakton, Virginia home when I am not at William and Mary. Like my Vice President, Melanie, I am a senior here at the College.
Before becoming President, I served in the SA Senate my freshman and sophomore years, and was a senior editor for The Virginia Informer. I worked on the campaign of and helped get fellow student Scott Foster elected to Williamsburg City Council. I participated in the Student Leadership Foundation, and am a brother of Alpha Tau Omega national fraternity here on campus.
I view the Student Assembly, though structured like a government, as a student union. The SA will be a resource for you at all times under my watch, a powerful center of student activism, a fair, efficient, and effective arbitrator of student activities funds, and an earnest facilitator of bringing the best W&M has to offer together.
In addition to heading up the SA, in my capacity as W&M student body president, I serve as Student Representative on the William and Mary Board of Visitors and the Strategic Planning Committee, two strong forces in shaping your experience here at William and Mary. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time. Thank you, I hope this website and this organization can serve as a strong resource for you.

Melanie Levine, Vice President
Hello Tribe! My name is Melanie Levine and I am honored and excited to serve as Vice President of the Student Assembly this year! I am a Senior at the College double majoring in Government and Sociology. Although I hail from Los Angeles, California, over the past three years, The College of William & Mary has become my heart and my home.
During my time here I have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in a wide array of campus organizations including Tour Guiding for the Admissions Office, Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, Pi Beta Phi sorority, the International Relations Club, Branch-Out National Alternative Breaks, working at the College Bookstore Café, and organizing student events at The Crust in Tribe Square. During my sophomore year, I was Undersecretary of Greek Life for the Student Assembly, so I am thrilled to have the opportunity to positively impact the W&M campus from the executive branch again this year!
Curt and I have an extensive list of ideas we are confident we will be able to carry out, and the experience necessary to handle all obstacles that may stand in our way. We want to make the SA an effective, proactive organization that reflects the desires and needs of our diverse student body. Our main mission is to foster a mindset within the Student Assembly that you, the students, are always the main priority. We want to make W&M a college that we can all be proud of. If you want to talk about anything, throw around some ideas, or help out with SA, feel free to contact me! Thanks so much for your support.
