Keenan Kelley, Undersecretary of Richmond Internship
Keenan Kelley is currently a Sophomore majoring in Government and Economics. Keenan hails from the small town of Portland, Connecticut, and he loves the non-frigid weather of Virginia. He is excited to work with the Government Department and the Student Assembly to build on the past-success of the Richmond Internship.As Undersecretary of Public Affairs to Richmond, Keenan hopes to expand the influence and opinions of the William & Mary student body to Richmond through initiatives such as the Road to Richmond.
Outside of the SA, Keenan is involved in Virginia21, a non-profit, nonpartisan student organization that empowers college students to influence public policy within Virginia. He is also involved in research with the Public Policy Department. He is a Research Assistant on a project focused on the effectiveness of AP teacher training programs. Keenan has an extreme interest in education policy and teaching, and may pursue a career in this avenue. Keenan is also an active member in the William & Mary Pep Band. Go Tribe!
