To Obtain and Sell Hark Upon the Ballot Box T-Shirts
The Hark Upon the Ballot Box T-Shirt Act
An Act of the 321st Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary,
Sponsored by Jimmy Zhang (’15), Yohance Whitaker (’16)
Supported by Director of Voter Registration Brady Meixell (’16)
WHEREAS, previous Hark Upon the Ballot Box T-Shirts are outdated and inaccurate;
Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary-
1. Loans up to $477.00 to the SA department of Public Affairs for printing and obtaining fifty (50) Hark Upon the Ballot Box T-Shirts from Williamsburg Graphics ($9.54 per shirt), with the understanding that at least, the $477.00 borrowed, if not more, will be reimbursed to the Student Assembly in the form of profits from these T-Shirt sales.
2. If the T-Shirts cost less than $477.00, mandates that the extra money loaned be returned to the Student Assembly immediately.
3. Ensures that T-Shirt text should be applicable to support future elections as well as the upcoming gubernatorial elections.
4. Supports safe storage of these new Hark Upon the Ballot Box T-Shirts, with the understanding that no member of the Student Assembly may take these shirts without paying for them.[/spoiler]
