The Charter Day Concert Act

An Act of the 321st Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary,

Sponsored by William McConnell (’14)

Supported by Secretary of Outreach Kendall Lorenzen (’15), Rory Park (’15), and Student Assembly President Chase Koontz (’14)

[spoiler effect="slide" show="Show Bill" hide="Hide Bill"]WHEREAS, the College of William and Mary is the only College in the country established by Royal Charter;

WHEREAS, every year the Charter Day concert has become a greater staple of Charter Day celebrations;

WHEREAS, in years prior to the 320th Charter Day Concert the Student Assembly has allocated an additional $25,000 to the concert to help pay for the artist’s contract;

Now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary-

1. Allocates up to $30,000 from the Student Activities Reserve to be applied to an artist contract for the Charter Day concert.

2. Charges AMP with the contract details, production costs and setup of the Charter Day Event.
