To distribute the Know Your Rights Cards

The Know Your Rights Card Distribution Act

An Act of the 321st Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary,

Sponsored by Colin Danly (’15), Will McConnell (’14), and Peter Lifson (’14)

[spoiler effect="slide" show="Show Bill" hide="Hide Bill"]WHEREAS, the Know Your Rights Cards has been purchased and delivered;

WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of the Student Assembly to distribute these cards to the undergraduate student body;

WHEREAS, in order to distribute said cards, funds are needed to accomplish the goal outlined in Senate Bill 320-XX;

Now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Student Assembly of the College of William and Mary-

1. Allocates $640 from the Student Activity Reserve for the purchase of distribution materials.
a. $40 for 6000 labels
b. $180 for 6000 envelopes
c. $240 for printing
d. $180 for folding
2. Allocates $20 from the Student Assembly Reserve to cover unforeseen costs in the purchase of the Know Your Rights Cards.
3. Charges the sponsors of this bill and the Student Life department to the distribution on these cards.
4. Any money not spent will be returned to the Student Assembly Reserve account.
