Stacey LaRiviere, Undersecretary of Public Affairs to Richmond

Stacey Jean LaRiviere is a sophomore at the College and is the Undersecretary of Public Affairs to Richmond. In addition to her involvement with the Student Assembly, Stacey serves as the Secretary for Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-law fraternity, Treasurer for the Panhellenic Council, member of Virginia 21 and a member of Delta Gamma. Stacey is a member of both Alpha Lamda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma academic honoraries, and is a government major. As Undersecretary of Public Affairs to Richmond, Stacey will help facilitate the exchange of communications between the College and the Virginia General Assembly. Stacey will organize training and face-to-face meetings with legislators. Advocating on behalf of the college and their peers, individual students gain experience, and the larger student body gains a stronger voice in Virginia public policy. Ms. LaRiviere, (seen here with her fave man on campus), hopes to become part of the legal scene as a corporate lawyer and believes that her undersecretary role is a great way to bring students’ opinions to the forefront of policy makers in Virginia.
